Flip SlideHD

What is it?
The Flip SlideHD from Cisco is being called “the world’s first shoot and show camcorder”, which has an onboard display large enough to enjoy the video you just shot immediately. The screen, when in recording mode, acts as a touchscreen control for the system.

What it has?
- Color: White/Silver and Personalized
- Recording Time: Up to four hours
- Storage Time: Up to 12 Hours
- Memory: 16GB
- Screen: 3-inch wide transflective touch screen
- Video Resolution: High Definition; 1280×720 (30fps)
- Video Format: H.264, MP4
- Battery: Internal Li-ion rechargeable
- Battery Life: Up to two hours
- TV Output: HDMI Widescreen
- Zoom: 2x digital
- Audio: Stereo speakers, headset jack

What it needs?
Overall, the Flip SlideHD is pretty solid and will be a nice upgrade for those with previous version and those who enjoy the form factor. However, coming in around $280, consumers can get better camcorders with a screen in the traditional form factor. Therefore, the Flip SlideHD needs to reduce its price.

What it needs?
I am no expert on DSLRs, but I am guessing with this price the camera better have everything, but just to answer the third question, wouldn’t it be better if the 645D comes with USB 3.0 and 720p video recording?
